To spearhead this leadership, SKAB created the Sustainable Building Services team (SBS) as a specialized group that provides guidance in varying capacity, ranging from corporate oversight and support to project teams, to the unique offering of full in-house Sustainability & LEED Consulting services. This team includes professionals from the Architectural, Engineering, Construction, Development, Facility and Asset Management backgrounds. It is also fully versed with the implementation of advanced technologies, high efficiency design and green building certifications such as LEED®, Green Globes, and BOMA Best. As well, it supports the development of SKAB's Environmental Management System.
This isn't a one man show. It starts with open dialogue and lots of teamwork. We believe that not only should we be prepared with the technical expertise but also with a green culture that promotes innovation and participation. If we promise green, we should be a green company too.

Environmental Management System
Environmental consciousness is key at SKAB. We strive to protect our surroundings with work that makes the best use of our natural resources, without depleting them. This commitment is evidenced by our Environmental Management System (EMS), a 'green' practices guide that enables employees to prevent or mitigate negative environmental impacts resulting from our industry.
